Visit to art gallery Wiek XX (twenty) in Nieuweschans NL. Nieuweschans is on the far NE corner of the Netherlands on the German border. The premises belong to a former custom building. The gallery specializes in fine art and realistic contemporary artists. The filming was done as a how-to exercise on documenting art exhibitions.

Nina Hagen and Herman Brood were quite notorious for their unforgiving and harsh songs in their respective countries, Germany and Holland. By the time this TV show was recorded (1987) their fame was reputed and they possibly (rumors) had had affairs in the past years. With Nina invited and Herman dropping by, they could not resist to fool the audience, that expected something extreme... Instead...

From an old VHS tape. The French lady singer Sapho and her band recorded at a TV show in Amsterdam 1987. She appeared there nicely dressed up.

Educational. A very unique take of Turn Back the clock. As a special request from Simone Walraven, who is leaving CountDown after presenting it for a couple of years, the Dutch sax player Candy Dulfer (who played with Prince in Partyman) is playing soprano sax to clark's song. Question for the students: In what group did we see Clark before?
